Brittany B
Practice Manager
Brittany has been with Lakeland Veterinary Hospital since February 2018. She has been in the veterinary field since 2006 and received her CVA in 2017. Brittany has experience in emergency care, general practice and has a special interest in dentistry. At home she has her dog Kira, and three cats, Ryuk, Ling and Snape. When she’s not helping our patients she enjoys beach trips and hiking.
Jill
Patient Care Team
Jill has been with Lakeland Veterinary Hospital since 2002. She enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine but her favorite aspects are anesthesia monitoring, anesthesia, and emergency medicine. In her free time, she enjoys volunteering with Give kids the world village and make a wish, going to the beach, and spending time with her 2 nephews. Jill shares her home with her rescue dog, Ellen.
Tanya
Patient Care Team
Tanya has been working at Lakeland Veterinary Hospital since April 2017. She has been working in the veterinary field since 2005. She has 2 pets, a cat named Tang and a dog named Jolie. In her spare time, she enjoys hanging out with her family, going to the beach, and sporting events.
Misty
Patient Care Team
Misty has been in the field since 2019. She enjoys helping animals and seeing different kinds of animals. She has cats and dogs. She enjoys spending time with her son and her pets.
Amber
Kennel Assistant
Amber joined our crew in September 2020.She loves working with animals and getting to know all their different personalities. She enjoys spending time with her son and taking him to Disney World with her husband. She has a Husky named Memphis that really enjoys being a big brother.
Carrie
Boarding Manager/ Customer Service Representative
Carrie joined our practice in 2013. She enjoys working closely with all animals. She loves being a mother of two and has 2 dogs Zoey and Rhea along with a cat named Gina. In her free time she enjoys going to her sons football games and chasing her toddler around.
Bernie
Patient Care Team
Bernie joined our team 2 years ago and has been in the field for over 40 years. Her love for all animals is never ending. She has 3 dogs 1 bird and 1 horse that keeps her on her feet. In her spare time she loves spending time with her grandkids.
Emily
Customer Service Representative/Patient Care Team
Emily earned her CVA in 2018 and joined our team in 2024. Her passion is working with animals. When not working Emily enjoys exploring the outdoors by hiking and kayaking with her dog Brody.
Amber J
Patient Care Team
Amber has worked in the veterinary field for 11 years in Polk and Hillsborough counties. She joined our team as a veterinary assistant in November of 2024. Amber has 7 cats and 4 large breed dogs at home. In her free time she enjoys being out in nature and can usually be found walking trails or enjoying a nice campfire.
